Again I was away for a week this month. Thankfully there doesn't look to be any more work travels for a few months. Maybe in late July for the start of the first test phases but we'll see.

A Caffeinated Blip In The Matrix

Meimei had helped to make a to-go cup of coffee and the universe suffered a momentary blip.

Practising Chatek

阳阳 is loving the Chatek and asked to go downstairs to play. 萱萱 wasn't keen and would rather stay home ... whatever. 

I brought 阳阳 down and showed him the basics of playing Chatek. Memories of my Chatek playing days came flooding back. I used to play it everyday at school. We would draw up a mini-court along the pathways beside the assembly hall and play 1v1 or 2v2 like badminton.

I love how he is attempting all these sports. It'll help 阳阳 build up his strength, agility and hand-eye coordination. Definitely coming down to play with him more often.

 

Work Travels: Trying A New Hotel

When I was travelling to Cincinnati back in 2016-17 I used to stay at the Hilton Homewood Suite. I like the bigger room with a kitchen and living area. I stayed at the Marriott West Chester the last few times and its a really dated and doesn't have proper outdoor area nor proper breakfast. So this time I changed to the Marriott equivalent of Homewood Suites. Pretty happy with the decision.

Raid Shadow Legends: The Next Broken Champion

Void double chance and they are offering a new somewhat broken legendary on progressive chance. Obviously it's always a crap shoot when it comes to Raid but I had about 50 shards so I gave it a go. Pulled a dupe Lady Noelle to start and wasn't expecting anything more. Then luckily another legendary popped and it's Tekteon. Looking forward to building him out and see how he fares.

The most powerful gift a kid can give his/her parents is HUGs! We love love love it.

I'm glad 萱萱 recognises her mistakes and will say sorry. But she still needs to improve on her reaction in the heat of the moment. Basically more Meimei less Pokpok and she'll be a winner.

Children's Museum Singapore

At Children's Museum Singapore today for some kids fun. It's meant to be educational and teach children about the history of Singapore through kid's friendly exhibits and games. But the kids were more keen on playing the various interactive games. One of those which we spent a lot of time at was the pouring of the Teh Tarik game. Meimei and I both got into the challenge with the kids too.
