Kiddos have found a new way to play. They would push it other on the smaller bicycle. I tried to get them to stop as I was afraid the one behind might slip and fall but they are having just so much fun I couldn't bear to end it.

Getting 萱萱 Her New Uniform
At Braddell today to get 萱萱 her primary school uniform. She was restless when we tried it at the shop. She was even more emo when we tried it again at night. The skirt was too long so we may have to go change it or have a seamstress to adjust it.

Children Art: Piggy Bag
This is part of the HBL for 阳阳. The kids are home again due to the surge in Covid cases and these HBLs are a short reprieve to entertain them.
I now have crazy work hours, meetings from 9am-noon and then again at 9pm to midnight for the next 2 months so I am hogging the study room. Thankfully Meimei has the patience to help the kiddos with the homework.

Zooming At The Basketball Court
I made sure to check that there were no one else at the basketball court before bringing the kids down. Covid cases are now in the thousands so its worrying to bring the kiddos out to any place with other folks around. But again this is no way to grow up and I try to give them as much outdoor playtime where practical.

"Cry" For Company
阳阳 shed a tear so 姐姐 will accompany him. *Slow Clap Clap Clap 假戏真作. The ultimate 骗局.
How do you raise a 3 year old that can do this sort of act? 萱萱 a very straight naive girl. 阳阳 on the other hand is a masterclass at manipulation.

Mysterious Rashes
It's been a week since it started. Initially there were patches on her back and thigh. Now it is showing up on her face and limbs. We took her to see Dr Ang yesterday and did the allergy test for eggs and yeast. We'll get the results in the next couple of days. Hopefully its nothing more sinister.

Mid-Autumn 2021
In a month where the kids were home most of the time due to fever, I'm glad they were able to go to school for the mid-autumn festival. Unlike yesterday years we were not going to be able to stroll around the basketball court after dinner for photo ops.

A Fortnight Of High Fever
阳阳 has been having high fever for the past fortnight. Initially I was reluctant to bring him to see the doctor as he has no other symptom other than the high temperature. But when the fever persist and didn't break we risk a trip to Thomson. Going to the doc now is a fine balance between getting medication and check-up versus avoiding other sick kids who may carry the Covid virus.
A few days after our visit 阳阳's fever subsided and he start having red rash patches. That made Meimei very worried again but we tried to wait it out again. I suspect that the red patches were 阳阳's body purging out all the medication we had him on constantly for the past fortnight.

Throwback Pic #1
I'm going to start a new series - Throwback Pics. Apple has always had this feature where they will prompt you memories. The ones Meimei shared recently were the cutest pics ever.
This is one of those melt-melt picture.

Super Hot Beach Day
Another rare outing to the beach. It was a super hot day and the pavilions were bordered up. So we had to rest under a tree. We managed to chance on a spot with sand so 萱萱 and 阳阳 were happily digging through it for treasure. After that they went to the shore to play with the incoming tide. Its high tide so the water comes in a long way and the kids loved it so much. I was watching the mat and stuff so I couldn't be there but I can hear their loud laughter and glee.

Papa Ayam @PLQ Mall
I seldom blog about food these days. Well considering we are in Covid for the last year and half that's not surprising. I didn't set out to look for this, we happen to walk around the basement of PLQ mall and chance on this. The colourful chillies on other patron's plate caught my eye when we walk past and I immediately gravitated to the stall.
We didn't dare to go too spicy since this was the first time and we were not sure what Level 1-20 falls. We played it safe and went with Level 5. Oh my the flavour burst and mouth-watering sting of the chillies were fantastic. I'm coming back for more, guaranteed. It is THAT superb.
