Raid: Raid x TMNT Collab

I think it's the 30th Anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They are part of my childhood list of cartoons. Although I'm not really into them they still remind me of my younger days. I'm happy to see that Raid is clearly aware of its gaming community demographic where most players are probably in the 35-55 years old that grew up on the 80s series of cartoon heroes.

Raid did a good job with the TMNT aesthetics and looks very close to what I remember of the cartoons. The only one that kinda failed was April but that's ok. I don't even remember she exist till I was reminded of her on the loading screen.

Raid: First Faction Unity Champion

First faction unity champion I pulled. With so many good new champs lately, I'm out of resources and gear to build him. Guess he'll have to wait till I collect more stuff.

First Taste Of Aburi Sushi

We are at Sushi Bar Plaza Singapura for lunch today. And for the first time, we decided to let the children try the semi-raw Aburi Sushi roll. This has to be the first time they have raw Sushi. They are already old enough anyways. If they are ok with the raw sushi taste, we can finally go Japan! Heheh thanks Meimei for suggesting they try. Now to get to planning for a future holiday in the land of the rising sun.

Took a night flight so I can reach Singapore on Saturday morning. Surprised and happy to see a note on my table. Thank you 萱萱!

2 Weeks Of Room Service

I was working every night in the last fortnight while in Bangalore. So I didn't sit with the rest of the team at the lounge for dinner. I had all my meals in the room. Plus I really didn't feel like entertaining them. I prefer to stay in the room and be on my own. So much more freedom and relaxation.

Anyways below is a medley of room service meals I had. I think the best I had was the spicy fried noodles and spicy fried rice. Basically comfort food ... still nothing compared to eating at home but beggars can't be choosers ... especially in India.

Raid: Back To Back Amazing Legendary

OMG! Pulled Gnut! I'm running out of gear and Legendary books to build Gnut right. This is truly a game changer. Now I can speed up a lot of the dungeon runs.

Raid: First Live Arena Win With The Horse

Having the horse really makes a difference. No longer are Mythical teams as scary.  

Raid: Game Changing Legendary Hero

Finally finish the Marius missions. Seen countless videos and guides where everyone recommends teams based on Enemy Max HP champions, namely Gnut and Marius. To finally get one of them is rewarding. Especially when having to work through some of the most RNG quest. Thank goodness that's over.

Now the next challenge is the mental fortitude to resist pulling it outside of an event to double-dip. Hope I can hold out!

Walking Into A Bar

I was shocked when Meimei sent the photo. And I cannot comprehend how the bruise could look this bad. It seems he and Ana had turned their head to look at something when he walked into a handle bar. Haiz poor kid.  Meimei is thinking about bringing him to the children's hospital but there is nothing I can do to help since I'm in Bangalore. Hopefully it subsides in the next few days.

Gearing Up For Next Round

$35 to boost up my firepower for the next water play. Well worth it in my books. It hurts to be hit by the guns ... both physically and on my ego haha. No more little piss-piss pistol. 

The Beach Is Always Fun

A good day for the beach. The weather was good and there is a nice breeze coming through. The kids are always excited to play in the sand. It's a good experience for XY too. She used to dislike stepping on the sand but now I think she is doing better. We just need to come more regularly. I'm thinking maybe next trip I can bring the scooters and zoom around the park with the kids. We'll see :)
