Best buy of the year. It's the dream of every child. It makes me want to be a kid again.

The battery powered train has also brought life back to the train set. And makes it so much more fun to figure how to make it go loops. Helps with creativity and imagination!

Joystar had a school event to visit the Changi Fire Station. Obviously the kids were very excited and more so for 阳阳 since his classmates are there too.

I suspect it was stuck on the watch when I tried to remove the strap to pass the watch to Apple to repair it. Good thing Meimei bought a few of the straps in different colours.

Wrecking The Watch

It happened in a split second and the outcome is terrible. I took off the watch to dry my hands and somehow I just flew off my hands, hit the shower door and then land on the shower floor. The knock was so loud I knew something must have broke. And as expected when I retrieve the watch it had cracked at 2 corners. This sucks. Now I have to spend another sum to get it repaired or replaced. Arrghhh! Why am I such a klutz!

New Bookcase

We had wanted to change the old bookcase for sometime now. It took some reshuffling of toy cupboards to make it happen so it took awhile for us to get to this. We've been to Ikea a couple of times to find a suitable one. 

We finally chose the Hemnes bookcase and was at Ikea Tampines to buy one yesterday. We had printed out the collection slip and were on the way to the cashier when we decided to stop by the as-is section to just do a quick browse. Coincidentally there was the exact bookcase we wanted in white. It was a $100 off retail so we immediately ask for help to load it onto a trolley. Although we had to pay another $50 for delivery we still saved $80. Plus we didn't have to assemble it ourselves.

It was same day delivery and by the evening Meimei and the kids were already hard at work trying to sort out the books to put into the shelf. The place now looks more tidy and there are more shelfs for books.

3 Months Into Raid

I've been playing Raid Shadow Legends daily for the past 3 months. The aesthetic and graphics are not as chibi like Summoners war and suits me better. I've totally stop playing Summoners war on the main account and only login in once a week on the LD alt to collect the LD heroes. It's all Raid now and I'm still considered to be early game so it's too early to tell if I'll stick to it for long. But right now I'm enjoying the game very much.

Apple Watch Go Kuku

It started with a shocking emergency alarm while I was half asleep on the study chair. It jolted me from sleep and I quickly fiddled to have the loud alarm turned off. I must have accidentally toggled on the emergency alarm in my sleep. Then a few hours later it happen again. This time I wasn't sleeping and was simply watching YouTube videos at my desk. Hmm, weird.

Then it happened again the next day. And I noticed that the watch screen would toggle on its own. Ahhh so that's why it activated the alarm. I rushed to show it to Meimei and thankfully she reminded me to record it so we have something to show the Apple Store if we bring it in for repair. The watch is still under Apple care so might as well have the experts look at it.

Brought to Apple Store today and the lady helping me mentioned that they see this very often with the Apple Ultra model. This is the first time they've seen it happen on a SE. The video helped a lot in "explaining" the issue as it's intermittent and I could not replicate the issue. Her preliminary assessment is that it's not to do with a stuck-ed button but with the circuits. So they are going to send it to a 3rd party vendor to have it looked at and I'll have it back in 10-15 days. Oh well ... not much of a choice isn't it. Let's just hope they can get it fixed without much fuss.

"I Want To Burn Courts Down!"

When we were designing the bar counter, we sought out the prospective wine chillers we wanted to get the measurements and ensure bar counter is built to the right size to fit it. So imagine the shock and disgust when the chiller came and while it fitted nicely by width, it sat with the depth of the door protruding out. What The Fuck. 

I went back to check the dimensions displayed on the chiller at the Courts store. There was no mistake ... it clearly shows the depth as 54 cm.

Then how the Fuck did it turn out to be 58cm instead. 54cm is the unit without the front glass door. This is blasphemy! How are we able to fix this? The carpentry and Caesarstone top are already installed!

Meimei was so livid that she wants to burn down Courts and I don't blame her. We took such pains to get everything done right and this one mess caused this. Is everyone at Court so incompetent that they cannot even measure a damn equipment?!

New Furniture Knocks

I can't quite make out how it happen. I was getting up close to the new cupboard and somehow I lost balance and went up against the corner of the cabinet? 

Whatever it was, I ended up with a sharp piercing pain. I immediately knew it wasn't the usual knock and am most probably bleeding. True enough the knock left a wound on my head.

Looking on the bright side, at least it happened to me and not Meimei or the kids.
